August 2017 –
An angel came and told me – You’re pregnant!
What an astounding news!
There was a host of angels, singing and dancing over me. I couldn’t see their faces, but I knew they were delighted to share the good news. Soon, there was a church crowd congratulating and asking me,
Why didn’t you share the news with us?
We just got to know… And I muttered, ugh… Wait! I myself didn’t know.
While that was just a dream, I was truly bombarded with a lot of questions from our church friends,
“Hey! I can see your face and tell it is good news! Don’t hide it.”
What! No! I’ll let you know if there’s anything.
“You’re looking different! Are you giving us good news?”
Not yet! But, I’ll let you know when it happens.
As these statements kept coming, all I knew was that a part of my dream was coming true – but only the latter, not the exciting part.
September 2017 –
You shall not suffer miscarriage or be barren. I will fulfill the number of your days. Exodus 23:26
I received this promise, and believed that God is going to bless us in His own time, and He is going to take care of me and the baby that He promised. I held onto it.
October 2017 –
On 21st October, at 4:30 A.M., I took a HPT. It was a Big Fat Positive, and my joy knew no bounds. I turned to face my husband. With pepped up eyes, I looked at him and he said he already knew it! I was bewildered, and asked him – How? He said, God already told me. I was overawed by his response – What? When? How?
He responded – Towards the end of September, I was having a conversation with God, when I saw you a little disturbed for almost a week. And God said, “Don’t worry! She’s already pregnant!” That was so amazing to hear. I was exhilarated!
We couldn’t wait to share the good news with our family and friends, and they all rejoiced with us.
November 2017 –
We heard the baby’s heart-beat for the first time and our tiny bundle of joy was already kicking and swimming as we looked in awe at the ultrasound. We were overwhelmed with joy on witnessing the real miracle growing inside me. We fell in love with the baby – a feeling that cannot be described in words.
January 2018 –
I picked a New Year’s promise card for our Promised One and it said –
I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good. Jeremiah 32:40
If He is so faithful in keeping His promises, how much more would He do as we depend on Him to bring up this Promised One!
Always depending on His Promises!
As we hold on to His promises and eagerly wait to receive this blessing, we stand in awe of His wonder working miracles.
Forever Grateful for His Blessings!
P.S: Don’t forget to leave a note of blessing as we welcome our promised one into this beautiful world. 🙂
Thank you for all your prayers and blessings for our precious little one.
June 2018 –
We welcomed our beautiful daughter “Liz Arlene Singha” on 18 June 2018. Our hearts magically expanded to make room for our new love. She is such a joy in our lives – A promise delivered!
